Adolf Hitler used it effectively to create fear in the British and french military camp, through Joseph Goebbels, his minister of propaganda in the Third Reich, during the world war 2.
Since then, it has become a powerful tool to disarm enemies.
It’s not strange seeing the same thing happening politically.
Fake opinion polls are manufactured to give even the weakest opposition advantage over the strongest force.
Fake withdrawal from a contest is another propaganda tool. It happened during Ekiti state election during the last days of Gov Fayose administration when Fayemi was alleged to have withdrawn from the governorship race on the eve of the election via bulk messages sent to people in the state via SMS.
Another latest propaganda making the rounds presently is endorsement galores.
Only recently, the social media was swashed with report of okun leaders endorsing Ododo, even when the same people seated at the OBARO OF KABBA palace had been reported to have endorsed Braimoh, Dino and LEKE ABEJIDE at various times.
And now, the master of all criminal propaganda was the one reported on social media, that ODA, a socio cultural ambrela body of okun people have endorsed Dino!
Indeed, a big balderdash, and arrant nonsensical lie.
LEKE ABEJIDE, a man loved in okunland with cult followership, will be ignored by them base on instructions from whom? Balderdash indeed.
This report is nothing but share bullish imagination from the dream land.
In terms of competence, capacity, financial muscle, connection right to the corridor of power with good moral endowment, ELDER LEKE ABEJIDE is and indeed, remains the man to beat.
Leadership of okun only invited the candidates and engaged them to know how good any of them can be.
