SALLAH: KOGI NUP FELICITATES WITH GOV. ODODO, MUSLEMS, ADVOCATES PEACE, LOVE, TOLERANCE

 

As Muslems faithful across the globe celebrate yet another Eid- el-Fitri, a festival that marks the end of the Ramadan Fast, Kogi State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Engr Clement Ohida has felicitated with the State Executive Governor, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo and entire Muslem brothers and sisters, particularly the State Pensioners for successfully completing a whole month of Ramadan.

Engr. Clement Ohida in a message of felicitations in Lokoja, the State capital, commended adherents of holy prophet Muhammad for observing all the rites associated with the fasting noting that Allah [SWA] would reward their perseverances, tolerance, inconveniences and self deprivation in the cause of obeying Allah’s commands.

He admonished Ummah and non Muslems alike to in the spirit of the season, use the occasion of the Eid el Fitri celebration to pray for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to enable his administration entrenched democracy by providing good leadership to the state and its citizens.

Engr. Ohida equally urged the people to come together and use the advantage of their diversity to build a united and strong state that will be the pride, added that the occasion should be use to pray for the unity of the state, mutual love, and peaceful living.

The Kogi State pension leader enjoined the celebrants to extend love, forgive one another, promote good brotherhood and imbibe the virtues of Holy Prophet Muhammed [SAW] such as reaching out to the needy, peaceful co-existence and sacrifice which are the hallmarks of the celebration”.

Engr. Ohida used the avenue to appeal to the state government under the amiable leadership of Alhaji. Ahmed Usman Ododo to in the spirit of the season to provide incentives to the members of the Union who are Senior citizens [Retirees] to reduce the sad effect of the current hardship bedeviling the people.

Engr. Ohida wished Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Muslim brothers and sisters, Senior citizens and the totality of the people of the state, particularly Pensioners a blissful sallah celebration.
