The reported case of effort to sell Kogi state properties is not just regrettable, low, shameful, appalling but most unfortunate to say the least, in the 21st Century when other states are acquiring resourcefully to grow their values.
The state has been moribund under the leadership of Yahaya Bello and his array of APC parasites since assuming office six years ago.
We do not wish to distract the governance of the state if its on course, but can not watch these drifts as they are endangering the progress of our dear state, in a critical time like this.
“The PDP is economically and prosperously worried about this act of squandering of state properties acquired by our founding fathers and now been filtered away by prodigal children who have found themselves in positions of authority by several dishonest factors” the statement reads in part as signed by the party’s Director of Media and Communications, Comrade Dayo Onibiyo.
The PDP therefore, believes that everyone has a role to play in ensuring a progressive state, and as such sincerely call on all sons and daughters of Kogi state at home and abroad, to go on their kneels to resist this, as we advice the elders to look beyond party colours and fight this low act, which can only destroy the very hope of recovery of the state from these humongous army of debts the state is immersed in and still being immersed by Mr. Yahaya Bello.
It is on this note, that we condemn this prodigal act and call for it’s immediate stoppage as we promise to recover every pin, within the ambits of the law of the land, incase this advice is not heeded.
