His entry into the banking industry was not with much fanfare ,but there was no doubt that he was on what he wanted to achieve. Today after decades in banking sector, Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu, Executive Director :Risk Management, Keystone Bank Ltd, brought his experience in management and innovative to bear since he assumed office as Executive Director,Risk Management, keystone Bank LTD in 2019 to date.
Aliyu,the SADAUNA Of Kakanda Kingdom,consummate banker and entrepreneur,who many have come to style the constructive youngman,religious and a philanthropist,has every reasons to be happy as he added another fruitful 365 days to his glorious days and years in the world.
One was not surprised at the symbolic well-wishes poured out marking Aliyu’s recent birthday, because he has been able to impact the different spectrums of society,leaving many positive front print on the proverbial sands of time at any given opportunities.
It is such that today, no story could be told on the evolution of merchant and consumer banking in Nigeria, philanthropy and support his community, religious causes without Tijjani Aliyu, Sadauna of Kakanda Kingdom being mentioned in glowing terms.
His legacies demonstrate the fact that he is a young man of foresight, unusual commitment and lover of good deeds.
Using KEYSTONE BANK as the platform that has by far given him greater portion of the public reckoning he enjoys today, he raised new paradigms in business management, provided invaluable financial backing for many other enterprise, brokered high yielding deals and raised the stakes of banking business in his capacity as the Executive Director: Risk Management, keystone Bank LTD.
And through his philanthropic gestures, Sadauna Aliyu has helped many to rediscover lost destinies and find hope for daily living, with his religious philosophies in tow.
In fact, in the things of the Islamic faith, he has remained no less a pillar of support, making huge donations towards their projects and for the deepening of other worthy religious causes in and outside his immediate community.
That is why as he marks and celebrates his birthday, Family,friends , well-wishers and many Nigerians who have drank from his well of kindness salute this young man of destiny born at Lokoja,Kogi State. He attended Okene Secondary School,Okene Kogi state.
After which he acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bayero University, Kano. He began his career as an Assistant Analyst with Manufacturers Merchant Bank Limited before joining the CBN where he was a Senior Supervisor. He was also Senior Bank Examiner at the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation for more than a decade before joining Access Bank in January 2010.
He served at Access Bank in risk management capacity for another 11 years before joining Keystone as Chief Risk Officer in November 2017.
He was the Chief Risk Officer of Keystone Bank with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry and added skills in Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance and Banking.
Aliyu never failed to optimise every opportunity to personally equip himself along the line of his growing up. In the end, acquiring the requisite academic and work experiences when combined gave him the edge he enjoys today. What was left was to put to application the wealth of knowledge and experience already internalised.
