Royal Visit: Caretaker Chairman, Kabba/Bunu LGA, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Receives The Obaro of Kabba In His Office.
The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty (Oba) Solomon Dele Owoniyi in company of the Obajemu of Oweland, HRM Oba Michael Ibinaye, members of the council of chiefs and the Secretary, Kabba/Bunu LGA traditional council on a courtesy visit to the caretaker chairman, Kabba/Bunu LGA.
The monarch said our visit is based on your immense efforts to the security and socio-economic development of our dear local government area
The monarch while appreciating the efforts, dedication, commitment and achievements of Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael in his few days in office, stressed that the surprise visit is a mark of honour for chairman’s selfless service and challenged him to do more for the Oweland, and by extension, the Kabba/Bunu LGA.
While appreciating Hon Zacchaeus’s uncommon leadership qualities as a worthy and illustrious son of the Oweland, the traditional ruler showered blessings and prayers on the recipient and charged him to continue on the path of selfless and exemplary leadership in the discharge of his responsibilities, noting that, “It’s not how long you live that matters, but the impact you make while you are alive.”
Responding, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael commended the Obaro of Kabba, HRM (Oba) Solomon Dele Owoniyi and his team of council of chiefs for the honour and recognition, and assured the monarch that he would continue to do more for the development of Oweland nation, Kabba/Bunu LGA in particular.
He stressed that he would never disappoint the monarch on the confidence reposed in him.
The Chairman said he would remain committed to the development of the local government, and would discharge his duty creditably as expected of him.
He appreciated His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, the immediate past Kogi State Governor and the present Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for giving him the platform to serve and contribute his quota to the development of the local government area.
Earlier, the Obajemu of Oweland, HRM (Oba) Michael Ibinaye, appreciated the Obaro of Kabba for always identifying and appreciating the efforts of the illustrious sons and daughters of the land, stating that such gesture would attract more development to the land.
