Dr. Babajide Ikubolaje has called on the government of Kogi State under our humble and dynamic leader, Alh Ahmed Usman ODODO to as a matter of urgency rise to the need of the people of Yagba West Local Government, condemning the bandit attack in Egbe-Okoloke, Yagba West LGA.
Dr.Ikubolaje the leading aspirant for Yagba West State Constituency aspirant described the incident as brutal, satanic, and devilish in act, imagined why people take delight in unnecessary bloodletting especially the attacks on innocent police officers and vigilantes who were on duty.
Dr.Babajide Ikubolaje called on the State and Federal government to rise to the needs of the people especially in Yagba Federal Constituency to enforce the protection of lives and properties, as our communities and forests are no longer safe. These evil perpetrators now use our forests as safe havens to perpetrate mayhem on innocent citizens and security operatives.
The Kogi state government as a matter of urgency should do all within its capacity to apprehend the bandits and forestall a recurrence of such incidents in any part of Yagba especially Egbe, Okoloke, and other border communities.
He expressed his condolences to the affected families, the community, Yagba West local government, and the Nigerian Police Force on the “unfortunate loss of lives of three innocent police and two vigilantes”.
He prayed to God to grant the deceased officers rest in his bosom and that the hoodlums meet their Waterloo in no distant time.
He equally call on the youths to continue to support the leadership of Alh Ahmed Usman ODODO,knowing fully well that he mearnt well for State,I condole with the Traditional rulers on the unrest mayhem and pray that God Almighty return peace back to the land.
