Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones has reiterated the commitment of Gov Yahaya Bello to revamping the educational sector of the State, insisting that Education is top on the thematic area of the present administration.
Hon. Jones reiterated the Commitment of Gov. Bello to reposition the Education Sector today when he received in audience the Proprietors, National Association of Private Schools (NAPS) Bunu Axis.
The Commissioner tasked NAPS to sustain their support for the Gov. Bello’s administration, appreciated them for keying into the program and policies of the present administration aimed at repositioning the Education Sector.
He charged them to sustained their support for Gov Bello administration, says the desire to making education sector the cardinal program of the present administration underscores the governor’s desire to revamping Education in the state.
Hon. Jones stated lauded the passion of Gov. Bello for Education reason why he is giving it top priority, said his interest in the positioning of the education secror, cuts across all levels, including private schools.
The Commissioner commended them for taking their time to come to the ministry to participate in the on going data capturing of the private schools in the state, says it is high time all stakeholders place Education on the right pedestal, pointing out that that is what the state government is currently doing.
He urged them to inform those that have not come for the exercise to do so, warning that the state government will go after earring school who fail to register.
NAPS in their remarks appreciated the Commissioner for the good work he is doing and also Gov. Yahaya Bello for his untiring efforts in the Education Sector.
