RE: Open letter to His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the Caretaker Chairmanship of Yagba West.
We would have ignored the misrepresentation being circulated in a purported open letter written to the very humane and openhearted Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello but we need to put the record straight.
The APC Yagba West Progressive movement is a faceless group and creation of a desperate aspirant Chief Olutayo.
The meeting which held at Abuja to discuss the selection of the caretaker Chairmanship of Yagba West was not a directive. The governor does not dish out directives carelessly on matters of nominations of persons for specific positions in any local government. As other local governments selected stakeholders met to discuss the nomination of consensus candidates for the position of the caretaker Chairmanships so also Yagba West met.
In the meeting, names of interests were mentioned and it was not possible to arrive at a name .. the meeting only resolved to forward three names from Odo Egbe where the position was zoned to. The Senator personally refused the position and purposely excluded Tosin Olokun’s name because of his hatred for the popular candidate. So the meeting rose without an agreement .
Thereafter it was heard that Senator Sunday Karimi insisted on nominating Chief Olutayo who is not popular and who hails from his same ward in Odo Egbe .
The act of the desperation of the writer showed in their outrageous suspicious and blackmail of Tosin Olokun who they see as a threat. How an open letter is written on suspicion explains the wicked desperation of the faceless group.
The last governorship election in Yagba west held successfully with the committed stakeholders of the party in the local government who did not even see the senator all through the campaign period. Should the senator also be accused of anti party activities?
To this end we will strongly advice this faceless blackmailer to allow the wish of people to come true and forget all this fallacy and propaganda of hatred.

Tosin Olokun: Tosin Olokun has always been giving his best for HE GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO and to APC in Yagba West. In 2019 governorship election, Tosin Olokun ward won in all the Polling units while Olutayo John Kayode ward double as Senator Karimi ward lost all the six Polling units in their ward to opposition.
In this 2023 Governorship election, Tosin Olokun ward won all their Polling units and came first position in Yagba West election results chat while Olutayo John Kayode from Senator Karimi ward came 13th position out of 14th ward in Yagba.
Going by the results, both Olutayo John Kayode and Senator Karimi lost gallantly to ADC in the House of Reps election in which they are accusing Tosin Olokun about. Even Olutayo lost woefully Senate in his Polling unit despite he comes from same ward with the senate candidate then
