RE: Follow-up on Clarification of Reported Incident Along Kabba–Okene Road
Further to the earlier clarification issued regarding the incident circulating on social media involving an 18-seater commercial bus along the Kabba–Okene Road, the Kogi State Police Command wishes to inform the public and the media that investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the video currently trending online.
It is important to note that no official report of the incident was made to the Police at the time, and the Command is therefore working to independently verify the facts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to establish a clear and accurate account of what transpired.
Members of the public and the media are urged to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information while efforts are ongoing to obtain verified details.
