The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Engr. Bashiru Abubakar Gegu has lunched a package, “Fasting Made Easy”, for the less privileged in Kogi local Government.
The Commissioner tagged the Ramadan package GYB2PYB Na Talakawa, equally presented several packages of Ramadan items to the party Executives and APC Party faithfuls.
Engr. Bashiru described the Ramadan support as his only way to compliment Gov. Yahaya Bello, whom he disclosed would by the Grace of Allah emerge the next President of Nigeria.
He said his conviction that Gov. Bello would become the nation’s next President is borne out of the Governor’s good works and his capacity to deliver good governance if elected.
According to Engr. Bashiru, ” I don’t have much to give but the little I have is for the less privilege and my people”.
The Commissioner urged others who are privileged to always support the less privileged and vulnerable in the society, said the tasks to make lives easy is multi sectoral and should not be left for Government alone.
Items distributed by Engr Bashir Abubakar Gegu for the Ramadan include: bags of Rice, Maggi, Groundnut oil, assured that he will continue to be a friend of the poor.
