The National Association of Kogi State Students NAKOSS, Bayero University Kano, has Commended the recent quiz/debate competition Organised by Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku Empowerment Foundation.
A statement signed by Comr. Abdulhamid Idris NAKOSS President BUK described the gesture by the foundation as one that is capable of reawakening the lost glory of education in the State, said it would go a long way in encouraging reading.
The statement called on Public, Private spirited individuals and organizations to join hands in funding the Educational Sector as it can no longer be left in the hands of Government alone.
The Statement said the PAAYEF initiatives is set to instill the Conduct Quiz/Essay Competition for Secondary Schools in Kogi State, an activity that has since faded away in our secondary schools.
The Statement described Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku as a phenomenon, with NAKOSS BUK describing him as a worthy example of youth that should be emulated.
