QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman Officially Receives Ogba Merit Distinguished Community Service Award.
The Ogba Community, through the Ogba Community Development Union (OCDU), has conferred its 2025 Distinguished Community Service Award on QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, leading aspirant for the Kogi East Senatorial District under the African Democratic Congress.
The award presentation had earlier held on 27 December 2025 at the NUJ Press Centre in Lokoja.
The award recognizes Suleiman’s record of public service, contributions to community development, and humanitarian work that have benefited Nigeria, Kogi State, Mozum land, and Ogba Community.
The timing of the honor coincided with Suleiman’s clearance by the ADC to contest the party’s primary for Kogi East Senatorial District.
Presenting the award, to the ADC Frontline Aspirant in Lokoja, the publisher of Nigerian Post, Abu Michael, said Suleiman represents the kind of leadership Kogi East needs if elected. He described the OCDU Merit Award as timely and praised Suleiman as a bridge-builder with an unblemished record and the capacity to reposition Kogi East.
Receiving the award, QS Aminu said he cherished the recognition and pledged to serve meritoriously if given the mandate.
In a message, Dr. Ishaq Dan-Imam, PhD, Chm, FCIA, President-General of the Ogba Community Development Union, urged support for the ADC aspirant. He said Suleiman has the credentials to reposition Kogi East and restore its rightful place in Nigeria’s politics.
