PROFOUND GRATITUDE AND SINCERE APPRECIATION HIS EXCELLENCY ALHAJI YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO
If speaking is silver, then listening is gold* . Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph. On the affairs and politics of the entire Kogi state, you acted, you chose right, your voice of justice was loud and clear so the entire people of Kogi state are delighted and very proud of you. You are the undisputed Mandela of the Confluence.
Sir, against all my aversion towards politicians and politics, I am constrained to admire you as a political leader. You have emerged as a visionary with a mission to turn around this country. However, my admiration for you as leader started when you started walking the talk. Over the years we have heard so many Kogi and Nigerian political speeches centering towards ‘poverty’, especially during campaigns used by politicians. Whereas, here you are who knew how to act and mobilise not only resources but mindset of people too.
I wish to most profoundly express my deepest appreciation for your goodwill towards Kogites. We are all indeed, very thankful for this wonderful expression of love and solidarity. It goes a long way to demonstrate the bond you have decided to share with us.
While we dont take this for granted, we are however humbled by this show of affection. It shows that even in these perilous times of difficulty, we still remain united in our quest for a better future for our people.
By His grace Sir, you will continue to be of service to our people. We will continue to be guided by our disposition to treating you with dignity and respect.
The Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1; To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Once again Sir, thank you and may God, richly bless and cause men to celebrate you always.
