Prof. Ocheni expresses sadness over demise of Alhaji Isa Ibrahim, visit deceased family


 

A former Minister, Professor Stephen Ocheni has paid condolence visit on the family of a late Elderstatesman ,Alhaji Isa Ibrahim at his Country home, Ajaka, Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area.

The deceased who was a retired Senior Police Officer and a politician, died on Thursday last week at his residence in Ajaka following an illness.

Speaking during the visit, Professor Ocheni expressed sadness over the demise of Alhaji Isa Ibrahim, described him
as a forthright, committed and a trail blazer in community development.

He recalled the personal struggle and efforts of Alhaji Isa Ibrahim to reposition the Igalamela Community Development Association, ICDA, for optimal performance when he served as its branch Chairman and National President respectively.

The former Minister who further eulogize the deceased for his other contributions to the growth and development of Igalamela community and the Local Government as a whole, remarked that the late Elderstatesman lived a life worthy of emulation.

Professor Stephen Ocheni said the Community has lost a great son and advocate of peace , said he has left a big vacuum that will be difficult to fill.

He enjoined the family to be consoled that the deceased lived a fulfilled and glorious life, where he did not leave for himself alone, but impacted on the lives of others.

The former Minister prayed God to grant the soul of the late Alhaji Isa Ibrahim eternal rest, and the family the courage to bear the great loss.

Responding, the eldest son of the deceased, Mallam Kabir Isa thanked the former Minister for the visit, pointing out that it is a mark of love and affection for the family.

Professor Stephen Ocheni was accompanied on the visit by a former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Prince Salisu Ogu, the Ohiegba Mozum, King Khalid Bukar, the Second, as well as a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government, Alhaji Ali Ugbane.
