Prof. Akinwumi Condoles FCT Minister, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu Over Mother’s Demise


 

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi on behalf of the Management of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) and the entire University Community, has commiserated with the Honourable Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu over the passing of her dear mother, Hajiya Sidi Ali, whose sad event occurred on Tuesday evening after a brief illness.

The Vice-Chancellor’s condolence message was contained in a statement released by the University Public Relations Officer, Mr Daniel Nwankwo who expressed his heartfelt sympathy over the sad news.

The statement reads in part:

“It is with a great sense of regret and sadness that I, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja, on behalf of Management, Staff, Students and the entire University Community condole with the family of Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, the FCT Minister of State on the demise of her loving mother whose death occurred yesterday, Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

“My dear Sister, while I share in your grief at this trying moment, we have to take solace in the indelible legacies that mama has left behind which shall continue to live with us through you.

“Her endearing virtues and charming disposition are what your great personality reflects and epitomizes over the years. I, therefore, pray that God gives you and your entire family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

“May Allah in His infinite mercies grant Mama Aljanatu Firdausi, Ameen.

“Please be comforted and accept our deepest condolences.”
