The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has received commendation for his very impactful intervention that is everywhere, visible, verifiable in the lives of the people of Kogi State.
The Kogi Central Senatorial Candidate of the APC Engineer Abubakar Sadiku Ohere gave the commendation and disclosure while addressing top party stakeholders in lokoja at a Strategic Stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress held at the Government House in Lokoja, Kogi State.
The meeting was well attended by members of the state executive council, Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, Kogi Assembly Members, Local Government Chairmen, and Ward Councilors, considered first of its kind in the state in recent time, took place at the Glass House.
The former Works and Housing Commissioner, disclosed that never has the state witnessed outstanding infrastructure development like is presently witnessed under Gov. Bello, described the intervention in all sectors of the state’s economy, and likened the Governor to MTN service providers that is found everywhere you go in virtually all communities.
The Former Commissioner who proved to be an encyclopedia of the achievements of the present administration, extempore, listed the several roads constructed by Gov. Bello in the Eastern flanks of the state, connecting of the area to electricity, several years after creation of the State as unprecedented.
Engr. Ohere praised the efforts of the Governor at establishing a University Teaching Hospital at Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, added that the area now has a specialist Hospital in Idah, Ankpa, said the people of the area have never had it this good.
The Commissioner who listed over fifty road projects constructed by Gov Bello in the Central Senatorial District, was able to mention them street by street, described the reference hospital in Okene, Ajaokuta, the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara and many impactful projects as legacies to behold, visible and verifiable for the eyes to see.
Not tired in reeling out the projects extempore, Engr Ohere mentioned all the several roads in Kabba, Lokoja, described the Ganaja Flyover bridge constructed by Gov Bello as a signature projects coming several years after creation as a beauty to behold, described Gov. Bello as God sent, what the state had wished for all this year’s.
While pointing out that the construction of the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre, the Specialists Hospital Lokoja, Gegu Beki, the GYB Model Science Secondary Schools in Lokoja and Gegu Beki as flagship projects, said the Governor has written his name boldly and in gold, described him as the best the state has ever had in terms of administration, concluded by describing him as a rare breed personality and politician who means well for the the State, would eternally be appreciated for rewriting history.
The Former Commissioner and Flagbearer of the APC in Kogi Central Senatorial District described the presence of Gov. Bello in every home, street and communities of the state as MTN, says his efforts would help the APC win overwhelmingly in the February General Election, urged the people, particularly the Party faithful to hold there heads and shoulders high as they go out for campaign, pointing out that Gov. Bello has made there work easy in wooing people at the Grassrooters to vote for the APC.
