The Labour Party candidate for the Edo South senatorial district, Hon Neda Imaseun, has made a passionate plea to the voters to also extend their newfound love for Mr. Peter Obi to the other candidates of the party during the February 25 presidential and National Assembly election.

Bar Imaseun was speaking in Benin, the Edo State capital while interacting with journalists on the extent of his campaign and the chances of the Labour Party at the poll.

According to the LP senatorial candidate who also at some time in his professional practice served as a senior legislative assistant at the national assembly, if Mr. Peter Obi succeeds in his presidential bid he would need a National Assembly peopled by his party members to push through his vision for a new Nigeria .

He urged the Peter Obi supporters across the state that all that is required of them is to vote for Peter Obi as president, saying they must complete the journey to freedom which they started by also voting for the other candidates on the Labour Party platform.

He also debunked the claim that the LP does not have party agents at the polling units in the Edo South district, and the state at large saying the list of the LP agents is with the INEC .

In particular, he urged the electorates to vote wisely and maintained that the masses have suffered a lot at the hands of these “bad leaders” adding the election should serve as a referendum

Bar Imaseun said remains upbeat about his ability to snatch victory from the jaws of the lion, insisting although he might have been labeled as the dark horse in the Edo South senatorial race, he is, on the other hand, the David who brought the giant Goliath to his knees.
