PDP Youths Back Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim for 2027 Presidency
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth vanguard, in Kogi State is throwing their weight behind Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a prominent Nigerian businessman and politician, for the 2027 presidential election.
In a statement issued to newsmen, Sarki Jamiu Mustapha, described Dr. Olawepo-Hashim as the best fit for the 2027 presidency, citing his ability to reposition and lead Nigeria to prosperity ¹.
Dr. Olawepo-Hashim, a founding member of the PDP and former presidential candidate, has been actively positioning himself as a leading candidate for the 2027 election.
He has been critical of the current administration’s economic policies, including currency devaluation and rising food insecurity.
The PDP youth’s endorsement comes as Dr. Olawepo-Hashim gains traction across the country, with stakeholders in Ogun State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) already throwing their support behind him.
His vision for Nigeria includes rebuilding the economy, tackling insecurity, and promoting good governance.
As a seasoned politician and businessman, Dr. Olawepo-Hashim is seen as a unifying figure, capable of bridging Nigeria’s North-South divide.
His philanthropic efforts, including supporting women and girls and advocated for the release of political activist Omoyele Sowore’s passport, have also earned him recognition.
The PDP’s decision to declare an open ticket for the presidential election has further boosted Dr. Olawepo-Hashim’s chances, with many seeing him as a strong contender for the party’s nomination.
