… SEEKS DIVINE INTERVENTION TO ACTUALIZE ASPIRATION
The Movement for Democratic Survival (MODESU) is a non governmental organization championing for the survival of Democracy in Nigeria. It’s focal agenda is to provide the needed leadership for the growth and development. It also stands to defend all threats militating against democracy and good governance.
The reality of the chairmanship race of Alh. Ibrahim Idris had another momentous prayer session at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Ganaja Parish which started with the booking of mass on Saturday and all through the Sunday mass as well. The prayer session was presided by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Victor Jemiliaye, who spoke extensively out of personal conviction that Alh. Ibrahim Idris, is a well known politician and philanthropist whose sense of love for humanity is unquantifiable.
The parish priest also stated that, given the above undeniable truth, Alh. Ibrahim Idris’ aspiration to be the national Chairman of PDP is as true as the rising of the sun in the morning. The former governor’s dream to be the next Chairman of PDP will be fully and joyously supported by the collection of the top PDP’s leadership and members across Nigeria.
Rev. Fr. Victor further extolled the virtues of the detribalized political leader Alh. Ibrahim Idris and fervently prayed for the realization of his PDP’s chairmanship aspiration, describing it as a dream that will give answer to the expectation of the entire country.
The Chairman of project committee of the churh, Mr. Paul Amedu, praised the numerous achievement of Alh. Ibrahim Idris during his tenure as the Governor of Kogi State. He said that the former governor was a unifying political figure who institutionalized all inclusive democratic tenets leading to peaceful coexistence among the citizenry of our beloved state. Alh. Ibrahim Idris has been a pillar to both Muslim and christians, he has built many places of worship for the Muslims and the Christians, St. Theresa Catholic church is not an exception. According to him, the former Governor if given the opportunity to be the party arrow head, he will liberate and strengthened democracy in Nigeria.
Mr. Umar Francis accompanied by top members thanked the priest and the entire church onbehalf of the national chairman of MODESU, Hon. Shittu Idris Haruna.
The bottom-line for this prayer session according to the National Chairman of MODESU is mainly to seek for God’s protection and interventions before the commencement of the MODESU’ intending national stakeholders familiarisation tour in honour of the aspiration and success of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as the National Chairman of the PDP
