PDP Names Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, T.J. Yusuf, Mohammed Abdullahi as Kogi Senatorial Candidates
The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has announced its senatorial candidates for the forthcoming elections, following the conclusion of its primaries across the three districts.
In a statement signed by State Chairman Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, the party said Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan emerged as the candidate for Kogi Central, while Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf secured the ticket for Kogi West. For Kogi East, the flag went to Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi, popularly known as “Elephant.”
The statement noted that the primaries were conducted peacefully and urged party members to rally behind the flagbearers ahead of the general elections.
PDP expressed confidence that the candidates’ pedigree, accomplishments, and growing public acceptance would position the party for victory in 2027.
