A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party from Kogi State and a former state Assembly member, Barrister Alfred Bello has urged the party National leadership to go back to the round table with aggrieved parties and adopt a win-win resolution to arrive at an amicable resolution.
Wike group are demanding for two things that Ayu must resign and chairmanship return to South.
Atiku group are saying Ayu can not go because of party constitution that will not allow chairman to be swapped to the South .
In this situation as a way forward both parties should be ready to make sacrifices and allow one out of their stand position goes.
In my opinion Atiku group should prevail on AYU to resign to satisfy one leg of Wike group request. While wike should also agree with Atiku group on the party constitutional perspective that the chairmanship can not come to the South as requested. In view of that the Director-General campaign be picked from the south.
