PDP chieftains in Igueben endorse Chief Tom Ikimi

More crisis seems to be brewing in Edo PDP as some chieftain of the party in Igueben local government Area has come out to endorse Chief Tom Ikimi not minding the controversy that some elements in the party have entwined him with in social media circle.

Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Edo Central District have last week suspend Chief Tom Ikimi for anti party activities.

The PDP has passed a vote of no confidence in Chief Ikimi on account of his position in a meeting held at the instance of the Executive Governor of the state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, an enlarged L.G.A. leaders and executives of the party in Igueben has passed a vote of implicit confidence in the ex-Foreign Affairs Minister.

The leaders in a statement jointly signed by the leader of the party in Igueben, Chief Felix Imoisili and Fred Emefele on behalf of themselves and over 40 others, dissociated themselves from the report.

While dissociating themselves from the ruse, the leaders showered praises on Chief Ikimi for his leadership qualities and team spirit
