PDP CHAIRMAN URGES FEDERAL GOVT TO DECLARE STATE OF EMERGENCY ON ABUJA-LOKOJA ROAD.

The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has renewed his call for the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency on the Abuja-Lokoja road.
This comes after an earlier statement urging the State Government to lobby for the completion of the road, initially awarded during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration.
Gambo stressed the road’s importance, linking the North and South, and lamented the economic disruption and loss of man-hours due to frequent gridlocks.
He urged the Federal Government to expedite completion, citing the recent gridlock as the final straw.
He added that for such a very important road, the contractors should work all day, not minding public holidays to ensure early completion.
