PDP: Captain Timi Iyela passes vote of confidence on party, expresses optimism ahead of national convention

Frontline and youthful aspirant for PDP Okene/Ogori Magongo House of Representatives 2023 ticket, Captain Timi Iyela has expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the party with regards to the forthcoming national convention of the party, slated for October 30 and October 31, 2021.

Speaking in his Okene campaign office on Tuesday, Captain Timi Iyela said; “I am confident in the build up to the forthcoming national convention. I am excited by the transparency in the process thus far especially in the processes and outcome of the ward and local government excos elections and the consensus arrangement of the North Central zone in forming a common front for the NWC seats to be filled at the convention.”

“Furthermore, I want to use this opportunity to specially welcome back to our great party, His Excellency, Dr Philip Salawu, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State. Like I do say, the umbrella is indeed big enough to cover all interests. Dr Philip Salawu’s return is a big boost for Kogi Central PDP. He is very well highly welcomed back.

“I urge us all as party faithfuls, let us all together go into the convention with the understanding that Nigerians look up to us as a party ahead of 2023, to provide leadership and representation on national front, across States administration front and across constituency fronts, as the country cannot anymore endure the hardship inflicted on the citizenry by the APC,” he further added.
