The Kogi State Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Alfred Bello has urged the Rivers State Governor, Nyisome Wike to have a rethink and not destroy the house he help in building.
According to the PDP Treasurer, asking Alhaji Atiku to take Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s style in resolving the current crisis remains pretty difficult, said Chief Obasanjo achieved success because he was already a sitting President
According to Hon. Bello, ” Alh. Abubakar Atiku can’t take decision like Obasanjo because he is not a sitting president.
” I plead with Wike to have a rethink. Working against the party is like building a house and destroying it .
” The interest of the generality of Nigerians should be paramount to the G-5 govs.
” Senator Ayu was elected at the convention and the procedure for his removal is clearly stated in the party constitution. Alh Atiku can not remove him expect Ayu himself resign out of his own volition.
” Chief Obasanjo was able to implement Atiku’s conditions in 2003 because he was a sitting president”.
Hon. Bello described the PDP as having all it takes to win in 2023, however calls for sacrifices and respecting the constitution as to removal of the Party Chairman.
