Patrick Agbator Formally Declares For House Of Reps Interest, Picks EOI Form

A reverend political and community leader in Esan land, Chief Patrick Agbator has formally informed his constituents of his intention to represent their interest at the National Assembly come 2023.

To demonstrate the seriousness of his intention, Chief Agbator was at the PDP National secretariat where he picked the expression of interest form.

The formal declaration of Chief Agbator which took place at Ekpoma was attended by cream of Politicians, opinion and community leaders across the Esan West, central and Igueben Federal Constituency.

Speakers after speakers at the occasion which includes the speaker of Edo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun pours encomium on Chief Agbator.

They described him as an outstanding and patriotic Esan person who has used his God’s giving wealth to support the downtrodden in the Constituency.

His representation of the district at the National Assembly in their words will definitely attract the much needed dividends of democracy to the constituency.

Chief Agbator in his remarks, which was accompanied with clapping, said he took the bold step of conviction to represent the constituency after a wide-ranging consultation with political leaders and opinion moulders across religious, and social class.

“. I listened to market women and men, I sat down with the young and old, I heard from students and intellectuals, I broke bread with the unemployed and the underemployed, I accepted the counsel of traditional rulers and kingmakers across Nigeria, and more importantly, I weighed in the opinion of my wife and children. All the signals that I got were positive.

The PDP primaries to determine who flies the PDP banner at the national Assembly elections scheduled for February 2023 is expected to take place by May 2022.
