Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi, popularly known as Somi Edunmare, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Otunba Adeniyi a former Kogi West Senatorial District Aspirant in the 2023 Party’s Primary’s in a statement made available to the Nigerianpost, did gave reasons for his resignation to include absence of internal democracy by the PDP.
Otunba Adeniyi equally notes the Party’s inability to purge itself of internal crisis, with older political class not giving room for the younger politician to ply their aspiration.
The Statement also did not State his next line of action, as the maverick politician says he is still consulting, however thanked his numerous supporters for believing in him.
The resignation letter has been copied Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, the leadership of PDP in Kabba Bunu LGA.
