OON Honour: Barr. Ladi, Epitomizes Resilience, Remains A Pride For Kogi Women


 

The Publisher/Editor in Chief, The Nigerian Post Newspaper, Abu Michael has reacted to the cheering news of the conferment of the National Honour of the
Officer of the Order of the Niger, on Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, Project Coordinator of Kogi State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) Project.

 

The Publisher in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, described the feat as unprecedented to be one of the first woman to ever be honored from the State, pointing out that Barr. Ladi has proven that with hardwork, staying the course added to a resilient spirit, heights can be conquered.

” This news is particularly a heart warming one to receive at this point in the year, and in our history of Kogi State”.

Abu described Barr. Ladi as a compatriots who in the service of her fatherland in diverse spheres of her endeavours, has shone constantly like the northern star, with outstanding accomplishments and an unblemished track record.

Abu further commended Barr. Ladi who he mentioned has remained an enabler and positive contributor to the quest for the advancement and sustainable development of the environment, said her recognition by President Mohammadu Buhari, underscores the fact that a golden fish has no hiding place.

While describing the iconic honour of the Officer Order of the Niger conferred on Barr. Ladi as most-deserved, Mr. Abu praised Barr. Ladi’s uncommon commitment to the NEWMAP and ACReSAL Projects, coupled with her philanthropic gestures that has placed her on the spot light, described her as a round peg in round hole, with a patriotism to her fatherland that has remained unrivalled.

The Publisher praised the multidimensional character of Barr. Ladi, described the Legal luminary as one who you have demonstrated capacity that has made women of Kogi State to walk with their shoulders high, described her as a model for study by women and the girl child in breaking new frontiers and reaching heights considered impossible.

The Publisher concluded by thanking Gov. Yahaya Bello for the opportunity given to Barr. Ladi to excel, expressed appreciation that her indelible imprint and impact, has made her a pride for the Kogi State women.
