Onogie of Afemai, Lokoja, Alhaji Z.A.Dangana Mourns Passing Away of Rear Admiral Ibrahim Idrisu.


 

The Onogie of Afemai, Lokoja, Alhaji Z.A. Dangana has joined in mourning the death of Rear Admiral Ibrahim Idrisu, whose demise took place yesterday.

The Traditional head of Afemai people in Lokoja, in a statement, described the death as shocking, lamented that a huge gap has been created by the demise in the Lokoja Traditional Council.

Alhaji Dangana described late Idrisu Ibrahim as a rallying points for the people of Lokoja, said he proved in all ramifications that he was a prominent son of Lokoja whose passion remains unquantifiable.

In his words: ” This death hits me like a thunderbolt. I feel pained in view of our closeness and relationship. I’m however consoled by the fact that he left indelible marks and positive impact on the lives of people he came across”.

The Traditional Ruler said the late Ibrahim Idrisu would be remembered for courage, standing for the good of Lokoja, said he will be greatly missed for his positive impact to the people of Lokoja.

He used the statement to condole with the people of Lokoja, particularly HRH, the Maigari of Lokoja, Alh. Muhammed Kabir Maikarfi 111, prayed God to grant the deceased family and several others the fortitude to bear the very unfortunate loss.
