The Onogie of Afemai, His Royal Highness, Alhaji ZA. Dangana is to serve as the Royal Father of the day at The Nigerian Post/Margret Ekpo 2025 Memorial Lecture and Awards.
In a statement issued by the Publisher, The Nigerian Post Newspaper and the Kogi State Registrar, Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre, said the event 2025 Memorial Lecture and Awards is for suitably qualified individuals, Organizations who have distinguished themselves in providing succour for the vulnerable, women and children in the society.
Recalled that Late Margaret Ekpo was a renowned advocate for the upliftment, fighting for rights of women and children in the society in her life time, a feat, The Nigerian Post/Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre seeks to immortalize.
The grand finale for the Public Lecture and Awards is slated for 10:00am, 27th May, 2025, with the program expected to hold at the NUJ Press Centre Secretariate, Lokoja, Kogi State.
The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is expected as the Special Guest while the Elulu of Mopa, is to serve as the Chairman of the occasion at The 2025 The Nigerian Post/Margret Ekpo 2025 Memorial Award.
