The Convener, Confluence 21 Forum, Comr. Ben Jerry has scored the Acting Executive Chairman, Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, Alh. Sule Salihu Enehe, excellently for his unprecedented repositioning of the Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue Service in his first year in office.
Comr. Ben Jerry, described the Acting Chairman KGIRS as a leader par excellent, said he has brought outstanding improvement in the day to day running of the Service a paradigm that has led to commendation within and outside the State, appealed to Gov. Yahaya Bello to confirm his appointment having justified the acting position.
While pointing out that aside soaring up the revenue base of the Service, with tax friendly policies, the hardwork, dedication, commitment and transparency in the discharge of his duties, Comr. Jerry explained speaks volumes of the dynamism and result oriented achievements of the acting Chairman.
Comr. Jerry particularly praised the deliberate policy of motivation for the staff of the service by the Acting Chairman, said for the first time since it establishment, under Alhaji Sule Salihu Enehe, staffers of KGIRS were paid thirteen months, described the feat as commendable.
Comr. Jerry described the Acting Chairman as a rare specie of administrator who is passionate about positive landmarks, says he has proven to be one among many past leaderships of the Service in ensuring enhanced welfare and motivation packages for the Staffers of the organisation.
Comr. Jerry notes that having prioritise the welfare of the Staff, which has positively motivated them for better service delivery, appealed for his confirmation as a reward for hardwork and dedication to the mandate of the Service.
While maintaining that since his assumption to the position of the Acting Executive Chairman of the organisation, Comr. Jerry expressed appreciation that in just a year, Alhaji Sule has changed the narratives by repositioning the KGIRS for better service delivery with the citizens appreciative of his human face style of tax education, enlightenment and collection.
Comr. Jerry praised the Acting Chairman for the prompt payment of monthly staff salary and payment of outstanding and current staff claims, praised him for his unrelentless promises geared towards Improved welfare of the Staffers of the Service better than he met it.
Comr. Jerry observed with nostalgia the acting Chairman’s approval for step nocturnal for the Staffers and plans to approve staff promotion, a feat he noted has turned the tide for positive disposition of greater service delivery.
Comr. Jerry while congratulating the Acting Chairman on his epoch making transformation in the KGIRS in just a year, wished him well in the coming years, expressed optimism that since reward for hardwork is more work, says he is hopeful that in no distant time, his appointment will be confirmed.
