Omodara Hands Over Motorcycles Donated by Sen. Adeyemi to Kogi West Hunters


The Kogi State Security Adviser, Comdr. Jerry Omodara (retired) on Saturday handover the motorcycles donated by the Senator representing Kogi West, Smart Adeyemi to Local hunters in the Senatorial District.

Comdr. Omodara said the donation was in tandem with the  belief of the Administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, Kogi State Governor to use local Vigilance group for effective policing of the grassroots.

According to him, securing the lives and property of Kogites will continue to be top priority of Government towards attracting more investors to the state.

He said the Motorcycles were distributed to six flash points in Kogi West to improve the security of the areas.

The State Security Adviser commended  Senator Smart Adeyemi for the gesture which according to him is a step in the right direction.

Comdr. Omodara urged the benefiting hunters to protect the motorcycles and use it for the intended purpose.

He called on individuals and corporate bodies to support the effort of the New Direction Administration to ensure safety of the citizens and enjoined the people to always assist security agencies with relevant information.

Responding, some of the hunters, Jethro Batola and Adekunle Segun said the motorcycles will fill the mobility gab hindering local policing in the Senatorial District.

They lauded the Federal Lawmaker for his gesture and assured the State Security Adviser of their Commitment to Curbing crimes and criminality at the rural areas. … Continue reading
