Beiwa admonishes politicians on unfulfilled promises, optimistic on Igala renniesance

Hajiya Salamatu Beiwa Umar has raised hope as she forsees a brighter future for Igala kingdom with the emergence of the new Atah Igala.

Hajiya Salamatu Beiwa made the remark during the coronation and handing over of staff of office to HRM Agabaidu Mathew Alaji Opaluwa at Idah, Kogi State.

She noted that Igala rebirth is certainly on the threshold with the emergence of the caliber of HRM Agabaidu Mathew Alaji Opaluwa at a critical time, the Igala nation needs a credible father figure leader to the rescue.

Beiwa said, “I am excited, it’s a new Dawn for the Igala nation. I know his reign will be fruitful, prosperous because judging from his personal attribute, his exposure before coming to the throne, certainly he will bring synergy, collaboration, co-operation and partnership that would eventually lead to a more united, impactful and influential Igala nation”.

The former All Progressive Congress (APC) National Woman Leader, Hajiya Beiwa has advised office holders and aspirants to the elective positions to be honest and dutiful in discharging their promises to electorates as they shall one day be accountable to their creator.

She reiterated that polittics is sweeter when electorates shun cash for vote and the elected representatives shun violence, thurgry but fulfil promises to the people.

“Youth should believe in themselves, behave well, respectful, develop their talent and play politics devoid of thuggry, violence and refuse to be used and dumped.
