The Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has presented the 2023 budget appropriation bill to the council at the council chamber in Abejukolo.
In a budget estimate he tagged “The Budget of Consolidation”, the council boss appreciates His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for giving him the opportunity to serve in that capacity. He called on the council to prioritize the concern of the people in the course of their speedy deliberation and consideration.
Breakdown of the budget is as follows:
•Recurrent Expenditure – #1,332,462,600 (One billion, there hundred and thirty two million, four hundred and sixty two thousand, six hundred naira only)
•Capital Expenditure – #777,287,900 (seven hundred and seventy seven million, two hundred and eighty seven thousand, nine hundred naira only).
•Total = #2,109,750,500 (Two billion, one hundred and nine million, seven hundred and fifty thousand, five hundred naira only).
The Vice Chairman of the local government, the DLG, local government Treasurer, Heads of Department, Supervisory Councillors, the Local Government NULGE Chairman, members of staff, SSA to the Executive Chairman, civil society organizations, members of the fourth realm of the estate, other concern stakeholders were among those present for the budget presentation.
