When Elected as Member, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Yahaya Umar has assured the people of his Constituency that he would make laws regarding there well-being his priority.
The frontline Aspirant for Omala State Constituency’ made the pledge ahead of the All Progressive Congress’ Party Primaries, says he is not going to compromise the people’s wellbeing.
In a chat with Newsmen on the sidelines of his visit to delegates, the Aspirant said his legislative blueprint is centered around social welfare, empowerment of women and youths of the area.
The Aspirant assured the people of his readiness to change the narratives and facilitate more development initiatives in the areas of human capital development, empowerment, and social welfare of the masses.
He emphasized that his reason for choosing these key areas is the fact that he intends to reduce poverty rate to the barest minimum through laws that will improve on sustainable human capital investments.
Hon. Yahaya argued that his people are in need of effective representation, someone who knows about there plights and not someone who is only interested in the exploitation of electorates and hijacking of the people’s mandate.
“I will do all I can to protect the interest of every Omala citizens both home and abroad. What I am offering is service to the people and my tenure as your representative will be for this singular purpose if elected.
I know I will be getting your votes both at the Primaries and general election, and I promise not to let you down” Hon. Yahaya Umar said.
He further appealed that the people collectively stand by his aspiration and see to his emergence as Member, Kogi State House of Assembly, Omala State Constituency.
The Aspirant says he has record of achievements that is speaking for him , disclosed that his aspiration is borne out of the need to open up new frontiers of unification for the APC and the people of Omala State Constituency.
