Olu Adde of Ekinrin Adde Lauds the Upgrade of Akinrin Stool to First Class


 

Paramount ruler, Olu Adde of Ekinrin-Adde, Olu Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu (Ahe Maworo1) CON, ACA and his council of Obas and chiefs have lauded the gesture of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, (CON) for his magnanimity in the upgrade of the stool of Akinrin of Ekinrin to First Class traditional ruler of Kogi State.

 

A statement signed by the Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Traditional Council, High Chief Cornelius Olowo, The Olufakun of Ekinrin-Adde, said the gesture which came during a surprise appearance of His Excellency, at the coronation of HRM, Oba Johnson Kolade Otitoju (Egbo Lona 1) who ascended the throne of his forefathers as the new Akinrin of Ekinrin, after the passing of the late Akinrin, HRH Oba Samuel Agboola Faleke, is most welcome and commendable.

Rising from the council meeting of the Olu-Adde In Council, Monday, July 3, 2023, HRM Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu, who is the Paramount Ruler of Ekinrin-Adde and Chairman of the Ekinrin-Adde Traditional Council, stressed that, the upgrade of the Stool of Akinrin of Ekinrin by His Excellency is timely intervention and a gesture well appreciated.

The Olu-Adde of Ekinrin-Adde appealed to all his subjects to celebrate the new promotion and continue to pray and work towards the upgrade of Obas of the rest three communities within his domain.

The Olu-Adde In Council congratulated the Akinrin of Ekinrin, HRM Oba Johnson Kolade Otitoju on his new promotion, urging him to commit himself into all that can enhance the peaceful and harmonious relationship of all our people, both home and in the diaspora.
