The Kogi State Commissioner For Education Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones has dismissed the misinformation making the rounds about the location of the Okun University.
Hon. Jones in a statement issued to Newsmen described the misleading information in some section of the online media claiming that the
Technical College Kabba has been approved as OKUN UNIVERSITY as untrue.
The Commissioner disclosed that the committee inaugurated for the purpose to choose location amongst other terms of reference is yet to meet, cautioned mischief makers against creating disaffection amongst the people.
The Commissioner called on the people to be patient, pointing out that soon the decision to locate the Okun University would be made known.
