The Senator Representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Sen. Engr. Abubakar Ohere says his representation would through collaboration compel the Federal Government to show more presence in his Constituency and Kogi State in general.
According to Sen. Ohere, ” We have taken the oath of office according to the mandate of my people”.
” We have started well, organizing legitimate processes that will enhance productivity and compel the Federal Government to show more presence in my constituency and Kogi State in general.
” Our priority would include the Dredging of water ways, solid minerals development, infrastructural facilities, especially roads as nearly 50% of our road networks belong to the Federal Government”.
” My focus would also be channeled to education, health and many more including special attention for Kogi development because of our strategic location in the Central Nigeria”.
” My other focus for now would be geared towards the well-being of my people and no amount of distractions can sway me from the good plans I have set to execute for the betterment of our people.
The Senator said: “On human capital development, for a start, we’re employing not less than 60 graduates across the Wards in Kogi Central as legislative aides. This is to aid for effective networking and synergy with the grassroots. This, we will build upon to bring the needed developmental strides to the various communities in our constituency”, Sen. Ohere said.
The Senator assured not to disappoint the people of Kogi Central, insisting that they are the essence of his representation.
