OKUN DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION CONGRATULATES NEW IJUMU DEVELOPMENT UNION EXCOS


 

Okun Development Association (ODA) has congratulated the National Executives of Ijumu Development Union, IDU on their emergence, saying the news of their victory is heartwarming.

ODA in a congratulatory message by its National President, Barr. Femi Mokikan said “We received with excitement the news of the outstanding success recorded at the just concluded (IDU) Annual Congress at its new National Secretariat in Iyara, which also produced a new set of National Executive Officers under the leadership of the new National President, Mr Kayode Olorunmaiye, to run the affairs of the Union for the next two years.”

”We at ODA rejoice with and congratulate the new team for the privilege of this unique opportunity to be called to serve the Ijumu people in this capacity. We pray that Jehovah God will grant you all that you need to leave an enduring, admirable and enviable legacy at the end of your tenure. The statement stated

The highest Socio-Cultural group Yoruba group in Kogi State maintained that “it is instructive to observe that the new National President, Mr Olorunsaiye, has already captured very succinctly the areas of focus of his team to include activities that will promote unity, security of lives, properties, farmlands and farm produce, and physical development among others. Interestingly, these are challenges that are of great concern to us at the ODA. We therefore look forward to the continuation of the robust engagement that has existed between us and the former Executive committee of Ijumu Development Union, under the able and proactive leadership of Mr Taiye Atibioke, so that we can continue to collaborate in frontally dealing with these challenges and many others.”
