The highest Socio-Cultural group Yoruba group in Kogi State maintained that “it is instructive to observe that the new National President, Mr Olorunsaiye, has already captured very succinctly the areas of focus of his team to include activities that will promote unity, security of lives, properties, farmlands and farm produce, and physical development among others. Interestingly, these are challenges that are of great concern to us at the ODA. We therefore look forward to the continuation of the robust engagement that has existed between us and the former Executive committee of Ijumu Development Union, under the able and proactive leadership of Mr Taiye Atibioke, so that we can continue to collaborate in frontally dealing with these challenges and many others.”
“We pray that your team will, during its tenure, be able to harness the rich background of the individual Executive members into a united and focused team for the benefit of Ijumu people in particular and Okun people as a whole.
God will grant you wisdom, maturity and character to deliver effectively on your mandate.” it added
