By joshua Ododo’s 2027 Re-election Will Be the Easiest Electoral Victory in Kogi State – Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman Calls for Total Support for APC, Warns Against Division Among Party Stakeholders
The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has expressed strong confidence that the re-election of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, in the 2027 gubernatorial election will be the easiest electoral victory in the history of Kogi State, citing the Governor’s remarkable performance, people-oriented leadership, and unprecedented developmental strides across the state.
The Chairman stated that the overwhelming acceptance of Governor Ododo by the people is a reflection of an administration that has remained committed to good governance, infrastructural renewal, security, healthcare, education, agriculture, youth empowerment, and inclusive economic growth.
Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael also reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Kogi West APC Caucus to work assiduously for the overwhelming re-election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027. According to him, the caucus remains equally committed to consolidating the “Okun for Governor 2031” agenda through sustained unity, strategic political engagement, and the continued advancement of the interests of the Okun people within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Chairman emphasized that the APC in Kogi West remains united in purpose and determined to strengthen the party’s structures ahead of future elections, noting that the collective aspiration of the district can only be achieved through loyalty, discipline, and unwavering support for the leadership of the party at all levels.
While calling on party faithful to remain focused, the Chairman cautioned individuals whose actions are capable of creating unnecessary divisions and discord among party stakeholders to immediately desist, stressing that personal ambitions must never supersede the collective interest of the APC and the progress of Kogi State.
He noted that the unity which delivered successive electoral victories for the APC must be preserved and strengthened, urging political leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and support groups to close ranks in the interest of sustainable development and political stability.
Highlighting the achievements of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chairman commended the administration for sustaining peace and security across the state through improved support for security agencies, road infrastructure development, investments in healthcare facilities and primary healthcare delivery, educational reforms, prompt payment of salaries and pensions, agricultural interventions aimed at improving food security, youth and women empowerment initiatives, and the implementation of policies designed to stimulate economic growth and improve the welfare of citizens.
According to the Chairman, these accomplishments have further strengthened public confidence in the APC administration and positioned Kogi State on a trajectory of accelerated growth and sustainable development.
Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael also called on the people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, the Okun nation, Kogi West Senatorial District, and the entire people of Kogi State to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose economic reforms and infrastructural investments are laying the foundation for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
He urged eligible voters to come out en masse during future elections to vote overwhelmingly for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, while also giving total support to all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) contesting elective offices.
The Chairman maintained that only a united APC can sustain the gains already recorded and deliver greater prosperity, inclusive governance, and accelerated development to the people of Kogi State.
He concluded by urging party members to remain steadfast, law-abiding, and committed to the ideals of the APC, expressing confidence that with unity of purpose, the party would continue to record resounding victories while advancing the shared vision of a stronger Kogi State and a more prosperous Nigeria.
