Ododo Visits Council of Chiefs for Royal Blessings

In reverence to the traditional rulers in Kogi State, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has today visited the Council of Chiefs in Adavi Local Government Area to seek royal blessings for his ambition towards the 11th November guber election.

Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman was accompanied by the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government Area, Hon. Joseph Omuya, and other progressive stakeholders.

While addressing the traditional rulers, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman said the visit was to pay homage to the First, Second, and Third class traditional rulers to seek their blessings on his ambition.

“My visit here is a homecoming, but it has been a tradition of our campaign programmes to seek the blessings, advice, and guidance of our royal fathers.”

“With this visit, we hope to boost and strengthen our campaign activities geared towards Kogi Agenda, which is consolidation on the developmental strides of His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello.”

“We hope to receive guidance and prayers to enable us to succeed in our campaign activities,” said the APC candidate.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Adav LG, appreciated the monarch for using their reputable stools in synergizing with the local administration which ensured the formidable security architecture of the citizens.

The Adavi Council Boss admonished the Council of Chiefs to be firm in their support for Alh Usman Ododo, reiterating that the APC candidate will consolidate on the laid down gains in the traditional institution.

Responding, the monarchs prayed for the APC candidate and appealed to him to continue to uphold the set precedence of Governor Bello by fostering unity amongst the different segments of the state.

While promising to be firm in theirs to support Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo in the November 11th gubernatorial election, they encouraged issued-based campaigns throughout the electioneering for the governorship elections.

The royal visits covered several of the First, Second, and Third Class Chiefs which are; HRH. Momoh Nasiru (Asema Otumi Ajoko), HRH Dr. Alhaji Shuaibu Ali (the Adeika of Ezi-Onogu of Adavi LGA), HRH. Alh. Musa Muhammed Adaviruku, HRH Oricha Stephen Asipita, and a host of others.
