OBYGI Inaugurated As Kogi Commerce Commissioner Reiterates Support of Bassa LGA For Gov. Ododo.
The people of Bassa LGA have reiterated their resolve to sustain their support for the administration of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo now and in 2027.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Muktar Shuaibu, gave the assurances in a
speech delivered at the occasion of the Inaugural Kick off And Executives of Ododo Bassa Youths Grassroots Initiative (OBYGI) held at the weekend in Gboloko, Bassa LGA.
The Commissioner said with the impact made under the leadership of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo, it was safe to advocate for his reelection in 2027, pointing out that it will greatly impact positively on the area.
The Commissioner urged the people to sustain their support for the present administration, pointing out that Gov. Ododo means well for the development of the State.
The Commissioner lauded the political consciousness of Comr. Victor M.D Kpanaki, Coordinator For Ododo Bassa Youths Grassroots Initiative for bringing the youths of Bassa LGA under one umbrella.
Also speaking, Hon. Salisu Adakeke, Secretary, Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board, described the initiative by OBYGI to serve as a vehicle to drum youth support for the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo as noble, assured of the support of the people of Bassa LGA.
In a speech delivered by Comrade Victor M.D Kpanaki, Coordinator For Ododo Bassa Youths Grassroots Initiative (OBYGI), described the Ododo Bassa Youth Grassroots Initiative (OBYGI) as duely registered organization with the sole vision and mission to supporting and promoting the government of Kogi State as lead by Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State.
He said the group, a political body, with composition of intellect and sound-minded political youths in Bassa L.G.A, are committed to compliment the work and leadership of the local government under the leadership of Hon. Theophilus Daruwana Adama, The Executive Chairman, Bassa L.G.A and other workaholic leaders across the entire Local Government to galvanize support for Gov. Usman Ahmad Ododo’s administration and reelection.
