With gratitude to Almighty God, Lokoja Indigenous peoples Union ( LIPU) in conjunction with Lokoja Traditional Title Holders Council announces the death of Chief Emmanuel Ola Yusuf the Marafan Lokoja. Until his death, he was the Chairman of Lokoja Traditional Title Holders Council.
He died on Thursday 26th January, 2023 after a brief illness.
The deceased will be buried on Friday 10th February, 2023.
2. As part of the burial programme, the remains of the deceased will lie- in- state in Lokoja LG Council Hall at 2.30pm on Thursday 9th February, 2023 followed by a wake keep at his residence. All Lokoja Traditional Title Holders, Ward Heads, LIPU Members and other eminent Lokoja Citizens are cordially invited to attend to pay their last respect to him.
