The Obaro of Kabba, His Royal Majesty Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi has assured of the willingness of his traditional council to synergize with Kogi state Health Insurance Agency in the implementation of health insurance for the vulnerables in his domain.
Oba Owoniyi made this known when the Executive Secretary of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Adekunle Aledare paid him a sensitization visit on the implementation of Health insurance on the vulnerable in the area.
Oba Owoniyi applauded Governor Yahaya Bello for establishing Kogi State Health Insurance Agency noting that this decisive action has attracted Basic Health Care Provision Fund which will enable the vulnerables to access basic health care in the state
The Royal father thanked the Executive Secretary of KGSHIA for enrolling the vulnerables in all the two hundred and thirty nine wards in the state. He urged him to keep working hard for the progress of the agency.
Earlier, the Executive Secretary of KGSHIA, Dr. Adekunle Aledare told the Royal father that he was in his palace with his team to acquaint him on the implementation of Health insurance on the vulnerables in his domain. He declared that the programme is made possible by Governor Yahaya Bello and the federal government Basic Health Care Provision Fund.
