NYSC: 563 Corps Members Pass- Out in Kogi State.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), on Thursday, 21, October 2021 conducted the Passing Out Parade (POP) ceremony for 563,2020 Batch B stream 1 Corps members in Lokoja with a low key passing out parade ceremony and Certificate issued to the Corps members.

The NYSC Kogi State Coordinator Pst. Mrs Mofoluwaso Williams, celebrated with the Corps members in Kabba, and hailed the outgoing Corps members for their contributions to the society.

“I wish to report to this august gathering that the out-going set of Corps members have diligently gone through the four cardinal programmes of NYSC Scheme.

“They have been able to prove their mettle in all facets of the service year, excelling in all the nooks and crannies of the State, where they were posted to serve their fatherland.

“Several Community Development Projects they initiated and completed are clear legacies that their service year was fruitful and beneficial to their host communities.
On behalf of the Director General of the scheme, I wish them farewell”

Mrs Williams urged the outgone Corps members to be worthy ambassadors of the NYSC scheme and carry the torch of unity and noble service wherever they go.

According to State Coordinator, in her words “despite the many hurdles that bedeviled the service year, the Corps members strived to answer the clarion call to our father land
while also sent special appreciation to the State Governor and his management for the security and welfare of corps members, saying the security officers in the State, have played immense role in the special protection of Corps members.
