NUPENG: Engine Lubricant Dealers Kogi Chapter Gets New EXCO
The National Union of Petroleum and National Gas Workers, Engine Lubricant Dealers (ELD), Kogi State chapter
The National leadership of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has formally inaugurated a new Executive Council for Engine Lubricant Dealers (ELD) Kogi Chapter on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 with Comrade Adams J. Babangida as the Chairman.
The inauguration ceremony which started around 12:00 noon was coordinated by NUPENG Principals official are the National president of NUPENG, Comrade (Prince) William Akporeha, the national President of ELD, Comrade James Omoba, both are represented, The National Auditor, Comrade Thompson Ogbodo Abiodun, The Senior Organizing Secretary Warri Zonal Council, National PIO of ELD, Comrade Andrew Alonge, The warrior Zonal Chairman of ELD NUPENG, Comrade Chief L. Comrade Chief Lucky Agbogu, administered the oath of office on the new executives at the Halims Hotel, Lokoja, Kogi State.
In his opening remarks, the National Auditor of NUPENG, Comrade Thompson Ogbodo Abiodun congratulated the new executive members and urged them to promote the policy thrust of NUPENG, while also admonishing them to be diligent, transparent and to place the interest of the Union above all other interests. He also encouraged them to see to the expansion and increase in the numerical strength of ELD across Kogi State.
‘’I congratulate all of you for coming out victorious in your election which was adjudged to be peaceful, free and fair, transparent and credible.
‘’Today, it is my great pleasure to be in your midst to witness this auspicious ceremony and I have no doubt that this new breed of leaders will do the entire Union proud. I want to also say here that I completely agree with the Senor Organizing Secretary in all the comments he made earlier about this unit.
Other members of the National leadership of NUPENG who were in attendance at the ELD inauguration included the National president of NUPENG, Comrade (Prince) William Akporeha, the national President of ELD, Comrade James Omoba, The National Auditor, Comrade Thompson Ogbodo Abiodun, The Senior Organizing Secretary Warri Zonal Council, Comrade Chief Lucky Agbogu, National PIO of ELD, Comrade Andrew Alonge, The warrior Zonal Chairman of ELD NUPENG, Comrade Chief Lucky, Kogi state Council Chairman of NUPENG, Comrade Umar Muhammad.
Responding, the state chairman of NUPENG -ELD, Comrade Adams Jimoh Babangida express his appreciation to God for what He has done for the body in the state, and making the inauguration to finally come to fruition.
Comrade Adams thanks the national leadeesof the NUPENG led by Comrade Thompson Ogbodo Abiodun for the efforts and understanding the delayed which culminated in the inauguration of Kogi State chapter of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (ELD).
