joshuaNUJ Kogi State Council Attends 3-day Fidau Prayers of Late VP Zone D Wife, Condoles VP Over the Demise
Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, has condoled with the Vice President Zone D, Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh over the demise of his wife, Hajia Hussaina Adeiza.
Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Ademu Seidu Haruna who led delegation to the hometown of the VP in Inese, Adavi Local Government Area the State, urged him to be consoled on the death of his beloved wife as it deem it fit by Allah.
He said the Council received the death with utmost shock but accepted the fact that the deceased had gone to be with His maker .
Also in his remark, the MD/CEO of Graphic Newspaper, Mr Yusuf Itopa also described the death of Hajia Hussaina Adeiza as painful, but urged the husband to see it a test of faith from Allah who gives life and also allowed death on individuals as it pleases Him.
Responding, the VP Zone D, Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh said the death of the wife was a painful one but accepted the fact that Allah allowed it as it pleases Him.
He expressed appreciation to the Council’s delegation for the show of love since the passage of his wife and their presence at the three days prayer.
On the NUJ delegation are immediate past State Head office of NAN, Mr. Kola Adeyemi, Director in the Ministry of Information, Mrs Fati Sani, Grace Kato of the Graphic Newspaper, and other Executive members of the Council.
