The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Lokoja Branch has expressed its readiness to partner with the Kogi State Government in ensuring standard in the field of Engineering.
The Branch Chairman, of NSE, Engr. Yahaya M.D. Farouk made the disclosure while on a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habitat Tijjani Oyiza,congratulated the Permanent Secretary on her elevation.
The NSE Chairman used the visit to appreciate Gov. Yahaya Bello for his effective utilization of professionals and indigenous Engineers in the State, assured of partnering with the State Government that would be rewarding.
Speaking to the leadership of the NSE, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habitat Tijjani Oyiza thanked the leadership of NSE for the visit, wished them well in their endeavors.
Recalled that the NSE had earlier visited the Permanent Secretary, Kogi State Ministry of Works and Housing, as part of activities by the Engr. Yahaya led leadership after emerging as Chairman in an election conducted last year to familiarize itself with critical stakeholders in the State.
