Urges Communities to rely on Security agencies for their Safety.

The Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command,Akushie Athanasius Spares has lauded the effort of the Zamfara State Governor His Excellency,Rt.Hon Bello Matanwalle in the fight against banditry and other related crimes that has bedeviled the State in recent times.
The Commandant disclosed this to our Correspondent recently, in the Zamfara state Commands office, Gusau in an interview.
According to the him, the fight against terrorism, banditry and kidnapping in the states couldn’t have been easy without the sincere Commitments and Support of Governor Bello matawalle, Stressing that the Governor has devoted a great deal of his time and have equally Committed allot of resources to ensure that the lives and properties of the Citizens are secured.
hear him, “honestly, the Governor has given all the necessary support, infact the fight couldn’t have been easy,he has actually boosted the moral of the security agencies persecuting the war against terrorism, banditry and kidnapping in the State.
According to him, though the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), was not among the lead Security agencies persecuting the war, the military and the Nigerian police force were the lead agencies in the war he noted, but he however remarked that the Command was unflinchingly Committed towards ensuring that the threat to lives and peaceful existence is reduced to the bearest minimum.
” our officers and men are part of the security personnels Manning some Check points in some of our highways,they are also part of the joint patrol put together to monitor the major highways in the state, and there are Communities where our men are permanently stationed to give adequate security presence to the citizens,so we are fully committed to the course as you can see.”
A .A Spares further appealed to the good people of Zamfara State to remain vigilant and watchful,most importantly, report any suspicious move by any individual to the security agencies, pointing out that every individuals must remain a stakeholder if adequate security must be guaranteed, he stressed.
He urged Citizens of the State to have Confidence in the security agencies’s ability and preparedness to protect them,he berated a Situation where some Communities submitted themselves to bandit and terrorist for their safety and protection, describing such act as a mistake, disloyalty and unfortunate, adding that it was only the Government and it security agencies that could guarantee the safety of it Citizenry.
