Youths are the sustainability of every society. For a society to grow in all ramifications the need for such a society to tap into the potential of its youths must be sacrosanct.
It is against this backdrop Late Secretary General of the United Nation (UN) Kofi Annan posited that *”Any society that does not succeed in tapping into the energy and creativity of its youth will be left behind.”*
For our society not to be left behind we crave the indulgence of our dear leaders in various cadres to see to it why our youths must be given the necessary enablement to make them impact society positively.
*”Education is the passport to the future.”* Malcolm X. Six months ago our tertiary education has been on strike the FG and ASUU have taken each other back and forth and they are yet to conclude the reopening of our tertiary institutions.
If this situation continues to linger, the passport to the future which is education would not be available for our teeming youths. Our future is bleak if something is not done to this menace.
Security is paramount to a nation’s development. For over a decade now insecurity has been ravaging our nation. People can longer sleep with their eyes closed because of the fear of the unknown.
This issue is becoming worse day by day and it has extended to our transport systems. People cannot move from one place to another without the fear of being kidnap by the kidnappers. And the more it lingers the more our economy will be dwindling.
People will now find it difficult to move their goods from the point of production to the point of sales. And the adverse of such are negative.
However, the time for enthroning another leader for our dear nation is fast approaching. And am using this opportunity to call on youths to rise to their responsibility to vote for a candidate with a great personality, good track record and awesome antecedents.
Our country is in dire need of a good leader and the time to make that perfect decision majorly by the youths is now.
